The Birth- 31st January 2011

This birth was full of firsts, the first litter of 2011, our first day time delivery and my first delivery on my own. Hope was a real star having her kittens after being restless for a few days she went into labour at 10.30am and it was all over by 12pm. Mum and babies are all doing well so far.

Week 1- 07th February 2011

Our new arrivals are a week old and we now have an idea of sexes and colours. To this end we have been able to give them a theme. I have been waiting a long time to use this theme and they are going to be named after the characters in my favourite books. The Twilight saga’s are a series of books about a vampire family and centres around the Cullen family and the relationship between Edward and Bella who is a human. The Cullen’s have 5 Children who are Edward, Emmett, Jasper, Rosalie and Alice and these are the names of our kittens. All 5 babies are doing well and we think at present they will all be Blue Points just like their parents.
