upbringing was a very sad time for all of us. Her two brothers sadly didn’t make it. We believe this was due to the anaesthetic administered to Lili to carry out the caesarean. We do not know how much Hope weighed at birth as the vets did not weigh the babies. I had always planned to keep back a Blue Point female from this litter as I have a love for the colour. In fact when I booked Lili I had reserved a Blue Point but Lili chose me so I came home with a Lilac Point and planned to one day breed my own Blue Point. From day 3 it was obvious that our only surviving girl was incredibly a Blue Point. My partner Paul chose the name Hope for her as we prayed she would continue to thrive. Hope made it through her first week with outstanding weight gains; she just kept putting it on. Lili is doing a fantastic job of looking after Hope with lots of help from Uncle Louis who can be found cleaning Hope and carrying her around. This is all when he is notsnuggled up with her and Lili keeping them both warm. Lili already wants her baby to be involved in every day family life and on occasions has brought her down stairs and put her on our laps and curled up as well. Hope has reached the expected milestones for this age and has lost her umbilical cord and opened her eyes. She is very vocal and is feeding well. Altogether we are over the moon with her progress and the fantastic Mummy which Lili is proving to be.
