Kaypez is a GCCF and TICA registered prefix. We comply with the GCCF code of ethics which can be seen here. Kaypez kittens are raised in the house as part of the family. They are handled on a daily basis by ourselves and our children.

They are also brought up alongside our German Shepherd dog, Diesel. Kaypez kittens are registered with the GCCF on the NON ACTIVE register. This means you may keep your cat as a pet or take them to cat shows. You may not breed from your cat and if you do, you may not register your kittens.

All Kaypez kittens will be sold with a contract of sale; this protects both the buyer and seller of the kittens. All prospective kitten families will see a copy of this contract before they are placed on the waiting list for a kitten. Part of this contract states that your kitten must be neutered at 6 months of age. I prefer kittens to go to an indoor only home with supervised access to a garden.

Kittens leave home from 13 weeks of age; before your kitten comes home with you he/she will have been seen by my vet twice and confirmed to be in good health to the best of my knowledge. Every baby is fully vaccinated and insured for 6 weeks. You will be given a copy of your kittens 5 generation pedigree, A kitten pack and Information pack containing all of your relevant documentation and paperwork.

Because your kitten is raised in a home environment this means they are used to everyday household noises. They are also litter trained and scratch post trained. Kaypez kittens are very well socialised, right from birth they are handled by people and children of all ages. They are used to other cats and dogs. We aim to give your kitten the best start in life so that you go on to have a happy healthy cat for many years to come.

We run a waiting list for our kittens. Once you are on the waiting list we will email you updates and pictures you can of course visit us too. When the kittens are 8-9 weeks you will be able to choose (or be chosen by) your kitten. At this point to reserve your kitten you will be asked to pay a non refundable deposit of £100.

When contacting me regarding a kitten I will ask you a lot of questions about your circumstances. This is not me being nosey but I need to know my kittens are going to the best homes possible.

I have no issue with the kittens being homed with children and dogs. I stand by every kitten I sell and will take them back at any point in their lives should they need to be re-homed. I also offer a life time of support to anyone purchasing a kitten from us. Please be honest when contacting me regarding a kitten, genuine people will have nothing to worry about.
